Hello! So I'm not going to dance around the subject, complain about having to post on here or pretend to be so 'surprised' that it's so difficult to meet likeminded people. I've discovered as I'm sure many of you have that it IS rather hard to meet people in Bend. Being 20, I'm not old enough to spend my evenings drinking endlessly...though even if I were I would much prefer to spend my time in Shevlin Park or a theater movie or live...or just with some good friends and a good flick. I work a lot at times and while I love my job, it is the highlight of any day...I'm still missing something. I would love a friend and if it comes to more, that would be wonderful too. My hope is to find an intelligent individual around my age or a little older who enjoys travel, culture and nice/interesting restaurants and no! I don't need a meal ticket! but hasnt lost their youthful yearn for adventure and would love to just jump in the car and drive til wed like to stop. I enjoy taking in theater, writing, visiting interesting places and having deep conversations about everything worth having deep conversations about Which can be determined once said conversation is started. The outdoors are a favorite but I'm not super outdoorsy like some of these Central Oregon girls so if you are an avid mountain climber or cross country skier...you wont find an activity partner in me. Just being honest! I want a person I can learn with, someone who doesn't have it all figured out yet and isn't completely jaded by the world. The wisdom of an old soul and the wonder of a child...finding happiness in simple things, peace in the extravagant, light amongst shadows. Hm, sounds a little idealistic but a girl can dream, eh? The individual I seek IS individual, can dress up or down comfortably and is never embarrassed to be himself. There is no appeal for me in those that feel they have to pretend or who have this outline of who they 'should' be. I'm still figuring out who I am in some aspects and
